EPRI at the SNETP Forum 2026: Advancing Nuclear Innovation Across Europe
EPRI took part in the SNETP Forum 2026 (25th-27th March, Madrid), joining Europe’s leading organisations, research bodies, policymakers, and industry voices to shape the future of sustainable nuclear energy. The Forum gathered more than 300 participants, representing 100+ organisations from 22 countries, making it one of Europe’s most important annual gatherings for nuclear innovation.
EPRI contributed to several high‑level discussions, demonstrating its long-standing commitment to safe, reliable, and efficient nuclear energy.
Neva Espinoza shared insights on nuclear’s evolving role in Europe’s energy systems, including long‑term operation and energy security.
Steve Chengelis addressed the challenges and opportunities in financing, planning, and constructing new nuclear projects.
Agnieszka Czeszumska highlighted EPRI’s AI‑driven research supporting the nuclear sector, demonstrating how digital innovation can enhance operational performance and safety.
EPRI’s presence at SNETP reinforces its leadership in applied research and cross‑sector collaboration, supporting utilities and operators across Europe, including Spain’s operating fleet, as they work to modernise nuclear infrastructure and integrate new technologies.
