The workshop stands as a pivotal opportunity to unite Central & Eastern European stakeholders in fortifying the security, reliability, and resilience of energy systems and competitive economies, ensuring uninterrupted electricity supplies and sustained economic growth in the face of evolving challenges and threats. 

The Power Summit of 2024 will be addressing the challenges that we face in keeping the lights on, as well as the opportunities that are available. Arshad Mansoor, the President and CEO of EPRI, will be among the speakers at the summit. Additionally, EPRI will be represented in the Innovation Session and in the exhibition area.

As offshore wind continues its remarkable growth, surpassing 75GW of global installed capacity in 2024 with the expectations of reaching 300GW+ by 2030, there is an increasing demand to reduce overall capital expenses (CAPEX) and operational expenses (OPEX). EPRI in-collaboration with DTU and other HIPERWIND partners have been addressing these wind industry challenges by developing cutting-edge methods for turbine loads, performance, health, and reliability assessments ensuring reduction in costs and improving annual energy production (AEP). 

This in-person event, organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), UK Space Agency (UKSA), and Plug and Play, will put the spotlight on novel space applications in the robotics, electromobility and smart cities spaces that not only shape and transform industries, but will revolutionise the way we live. Mark McGranagham, EPRI Fellow, is one of the speakers.

Innovation Zero, the UK's largest sustainability conference, returns to London Olympia for the second edition on 30 April - 1 May 2024, alongside its new co-located event, Infrastructure Zero. EPRI will be participating in this event in the exhibition area

Participants from utilities, EPRI subject matter experts, regulators, government organizations, oil and gas companies and other invited guests will bediscussing the latest findings from applied research projects and to define collaborative responses to the challenges facing the energy transition. This year’s event is by invitation.
