Europe stands at a pivotal moment in the convergence of energy and artificial intelligence. As the continent seeks to strengthen both its energy security and technological sovereignty, a new question emerges: what would the European energy utilities of the future look like if they were free from today's constraints and guided by the highest level of European ambition?

As part of European AI Innovation Month, this workshop invites participants to explore that question and develop a shared vision for European AI-native energy utilities. The goal is not simply to digitize existing utility models, but to imagine a fundamentally new blueprint that aligns with Europe's strategic priorities in energy, decarbonization, industrial competitiveness, and AI leadership.

Enlit Europe 2026 will take place from 10-12 November 2026 in Vienna, Austria, bringing together 15,000 energy professionals, 750+ exhibitors, and 600+ speakers to drive the transition toward a decarbonised, digitalised, and reliable energy system.
