Eamonn Lannoye, EPRI Europe Managing Director, is speaking about System Operations. Where? At the European New Power Summit next week, during Arnhem Electricity Week, the electrification event of the year in Arnhem, The Netherlands. Eamonn Lannoye will take the stage alongside top experts in system integration, electric charging, and energy storage.

HIPERWIND has been working to decrease the Levelized Cost of Energy of offshore wind farms, through reductions in risk and uncertainty. At its final event, you'll be hearing from project partners on the major findings and research contributions from the project.

Clément Jacquet, EPRI Europe, will present "Wind Turbine Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Optimization Using Advanced Performance, Health, and Reliability Models" as part of the event's session Lifecycle optimisation, on Tuesday, 11 June 2024, 10:15 - 11:30. 

The AGISTIN webinar “Perspectives on Grid Connection Networks for Energy Storage”, will decode the complexity of grid connection network amendments, and address the implications of the network codes on grid connection networks for energy storage, featuring presentations from AGISTIN and iStentore projects use cases. 

EPRI will join more than 200 experts at the annual SNETP Forum, looking into strategic R&D&I discussions, technical sessions, and networking opportunities. EPRI will participate in 4 panels on the 18th April.

The Power Summit of 2024 will be addressing the challenges that we face in keeping the lights on, as well as the opportunities that are available. Arshad Mansoor, the President and CEO of EPRI, will be among the speakers at the summit. Additionally, EPRI will be represented in the Innovation Session and in the exhibition area.

As offshore wind continues its remarkable growth, surpassing 75GW of global installed capacity in 2024 with the expectations of reaching 300GW+ by 2030, there is an increasing demand to reduce overall capital expenses (CAPEX) and operational expenses (OPEX). EPRI in-collaboration with DTU and other HIPERWIND partners have been addressing these wind industry challenges by developing cutting-edge methods for turbine loads, performance, health, and reliability assessments ensuring reduction in costs and improving annual energy production (AEP). 

This in-person event, organised by the European Space Agency (ESA), UK Space Agency (UKSA), and Plug and Play, will put the spotlight on novel space applications in the robotics, electromobility and smart cities spaces that not only shape and transform industries, but will revolutionise the way we live.
